Dr. Donelan is the Stuart H. Altman Professor and Chair of US Health Policy in the Schneider Institutes for Health Policy and Research at Brandeis University. She is a health services and survey researcher who has collaborated on many PCORI funded studies focused on improving care for persons who have complex illness, disabilities, or other health conditions associated with aging. Dr. Donelan’s current and recent national projects include the health workforce changes needed to improve care for frail older adults, and assessments of staff and family caregivers providing care care during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Donelan is also affiliated on a part-time basis with the Mongan Institute at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
